World Vision Korea is the birth place of World Vision International. World Vision International was established during the Korean War (1950) by an American evangelist, Dr. Bob Pierce and Dr. Kyung Jik Han co-founders of World Vision Korea.
At present, WV Korea supports 155 development and relief projects in 43 Third World countries, located in Asia, Africa, Middle East & Europe and Latin America. Also, it operates in-country programs such as 12 community development centers and 10 family development projects, while giving support to 70 childcare institutions. |
For the past 58 years World Vision Korea has ministered to those most vulnerable and the needy with the least cost to help motivate their self-supporting and to bring the good news of God's Kingdom. |
